Fresh raspian + piplay install script = broken

    I’m having some difficulties getting a fresh install to work. The webserver isn’t starting. I decided to reinstall it and saw this on uninstall:

    Building dependency tree…

    Package ‘lighttpd’ is not installed, so not removed
    Package ‘php5-cgi’ is not installed, so not removed
    Package ‘vsftpd’ is not installed, so not removed
    The following packages will be REMOVED:
    imagemagick
    0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
    After this operation, 509 kB disk space will be freed.
    (Reading database … 84009 files and directories currently installed.)

    So it looks like the install process failed totally. Pimame itself runs and plays Grid, but that’s about it.

    I ran install again just now (having already run it a couple of times last night) and this time it’s working better. Go figure. No problem!
