piplay exits out when i open a menu

    I start up the pi and it boots but when i open a emulator menu it exits to the command prompt.

    what type of controller are you using? does it happen with all of the emulators?

    X-Box controller, and yes

    I had a similar problem and it was in my Pi not setting the screen to proper size. Also check that you have enough memory on your sd card.

    I hope that helps. Im a newb and trying to give back.

    We have enough memory on the sd card, and we found out that just restarting the main piplay menu will fix it, but thx for the tips! :)
